JTC is participating in the 2016/2017 Canadian Student Tobacco, Alcohol and Drugs Survey. This is the only survey conducted nationally to monitor smoking, alcohol and drug use behaviours of Canadian youth and also asks questions about bullying, mental health and school connectedness. CSTADS is funded by Health Canada and in Manitoba will be implemented by CancerCare Manitoba. On April 26, 2017, students in grades 9 to 12 will take part in the survey in school. If you DO NOT wish your child to participate please call the project coordinator, Cyndi Fraser, at 1-888-827-9702 by April 25, 2017. (DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL) For more information about the project please see the information letter attached or visit cstads.ca where you can also access a copy of the questionnaire.
